Eggs play an important roll in baking – they add structure and leavening to mug cakes, cookies, and muffins. BUT, they aren’t the only agent that provide that structure to baked goods, flax eggs do just the same!

Here’s how you make flax eggs…

Recipe

1 T ground Flaxseed

2.5 T water

Directions

Mix flaxseed and water in a small bowl. Allow mixture to thicken for 5 minutes. This can serve as a replacement for 1 egg.
